The Wade Barrett Memorial Fund was established in 2010 when our son, Wade, passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Our mission is to provide education and safe sleep tools to the Kansas counties of Lyon, Chase, Coffey, Morris, Wabaunsee, Osage, and Greenwood.

Started in 2010, we have continued to grow, making a larger impact each year.
We have raised OVER 120,000 dollars since the establishment of the fund in 2010.
We have touched OVER 3,000 families with SIDS education, tools, and programs in 7 Kansas counties.
Starting in 2014, we established a Halo swaddle program at Newman Regional Health. Each baby born receives a Halo swaddle and safe sleep instruction. In 2016 the Lyon County Community Baby Shower was established and is held yearly at the Anderson Building.
All proceeds go to support SIDS education and the purchase of safe sleep tools for Lyon, Chase, Coffey, Osage, Greenwood, Morris, and Wabaunsee Counties in Kansas.
